ten second page turn?

hi - When secure VPN is enabled on my computer, my forum discussions are very slow with page changes approx. 10 seconds.

When I disconnect the VPN the forum is as fast as anywhere else on the web.

What could this be due to?

You need to read on the Internet how VPN works and why it slows down page loading.

You are no longer accessing page from your own country while using VPN. You using some other country to access it and free VPN services are often very slow. Before you access the page, you do few extra steps, connect to other server until you even reach the page. This costs you load time of the page.

I have browsed the forum of your profile, if that is it, I have browsed without problems with a VPN in Firefox, and I have browsed quickly, so change the VPN if it slows down the pages.

in any case, @Razor12345 are right, issues external to forumotion, cannot be resolved in this support forum.

Forumotion has no power over your browsers and VPN.
VPN will always be a littler slower then your basic internet as it has to hide your data and also run from some other servers before ours.

I only use VPN if i want to go on a site that is banned to me by IP address.

Sadly we can't help you so i think maybe this topic should be closed.

I use google chrome browser and i use norton security company with vpn on! - My forum is still very slow with Google Chrome, I just tested it! - But I will try to install the Firefox browser and then use it for my forum! - Many thanks for the answer! - Paul

As we can't help on your VPN problem i will close this case.
