Hello,
We disabled our ad partner regarding scam ads for the moment.
@BlackScorpion and @Dragongirl02 :
About redirect problems, I need to be sure they are "forced redirects" and not "pop-under" ads. Do you lose the forum? Or a new tab is opened with the ad? I have some doubts because your forums are inactive (0 point).
@MattiaDes :
Can you reproduce these annoying redirects on your side? If yes, I will explain you the process to obtain the needed information to block this malicious campaign.
Best,

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
To me whether it's a redirects
Or a pop up they are all scams and I do not want users to think the site's been hijacked when it's an issues on the hosts end that is taking forever to fix. As I consider any page that opens that a member did not want bad and it's worse if said page is a scam.
Test site as I try to login on cell

Note: These type of things and pop up can be consider/mistaken for malware hence why I'm highly considering moving my main forum elsewhere before the unremovable URL bloke issues comes into play for it. As it seems you don't care about that risk.
I have a high suspicion if you folks don't step up the pace and I left my main forum site here it would get the unremovable URL block treatment. If you folks step up the pace and fixed it afterwards it would probably be too late for my forum site hence unremovable.
Moving it would mean money lose but I think it's safety is more impotent. If you folks refuse to speed the pace up a lot.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Hello,
We reproduce the forced redirects on mobile this morning and we collected the required datas to block them. A ticket with all information was opened some minutes ago and we're waiting the return of the ad partner.
It comes from the 320x50 mobile banner. I keep you in touch when I have the confirmation that the issues is fixed.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
@The Godfather, when I go to my old site http://samanthas-mk-forum.top-board.com/ and try to log in, like 10 pop-up windows and tabs open up with 50% of indecent advertising links or so in 'm. Now, I didn't install nothing, so how come?
The site has been kinda inactive for a while, but sometimes I need to log in to have a look at scripts I / we made in the past...

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Hello SWS,
The issue regarding forced redirect on mobile seems to be fixed now. Please, can you test again and confirm me it's fine?
About your forum, it's an inactive forum (0 point) and you will have one pop-under (not 10 pop-up windows but only one pop-under)

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
12 points go to France . One extra window was opened when logging in using FF... http://prntscr.com/f97yuw . Don't like it, but if that's I've got to deal with atm having a ' free domain ', fine with me.
Not pressing any links, just closed the window using X. I know what's about to be done, like hijacking my system. So, to me this is solved for now.
Could you pls have a look at my other (rather urgent) topic: https://help.forumotion.com/t152954-how-to-transfer-my-domain-name#1047264
Thanks in advance, and I'd like to be part of the team on here.
Samantha.

@The Godfather
Not for me just got one just now and it's that orange wheel scam again.
Here is what I was doing, expecting a pop-up scam as usually as I attempted to pull down the menu to log in. However this time it just redirected to the app store with Audible app poping up. Audible is a legit company so that's something I can tolerate. Was able to get it pulled down and log in afterward. However, as soon as I log in, I get fully redirect of the site (again). Surprised me a little since you said it should be gone.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
I was presented with a new tab when visiting my site. This time it was a porn site with some pretty nasty images, Last time it was the dreaded flash install site. I tried to get more info but couldn't load the page again. This is very troubling as my site has a lot of young visitors...

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Still not happy. That orange Walmart scam is still around. It has gotten to the point where I've had to find an ad blocker app for my cell. There is one that at least keeps the scam pop-ups away. However, this mobile work around can ONLY be done if said member has FULL ADMIN control of their smartphone and these same RULES also apply to normal computers too. As you folks should be well aware of. Plus I'm NOT sure all smartphone have said types of ad blocking apps yet.
Plus it's annoying if you forget you have it on/off when you want it the opposite way.
Temporarily removing the blocks to see what happens.
Results:
Pop up for app store's pet rescue. (Can tolerate)
However, that same nasty Orange Walmart redirects just happened again when it should be gone. That's a danger I can't risk for my main forum site. So far you've seemed to prove, I can't trust you with my main forum site and I've made a huge mistake and that you support that that orange wheel Walmart redirect scam and lie about not supporting scams otherwise that one would be long gone and it still around. I should have seen the signs in the first place that you are scam supporters when all the nasty ads were going on. I guess it is time to find a new trustworthy host that care about dealing with bad ads.
Note:
I am starting the search for a new host again, I'm trying to find one that can do what I need it to do without making any dangerous mess.
The main trouble I'm running into is the Viglink API, on the other forums and it's causing a copy/paste link mess which is very spam looking. If you think carefully on this you might realize this link could be mistaken for a link which is mainly found in yucky junk e-mails.

Only seems to be an issue on the mobile version, posing as a Google Reward of some kind.
The website seems to be lgrvz(dot)net.
The entire URL it brings me to changes each time, I'm not sure it will be helpful, but as an example, here is one of them:

3. Inspect the item, go into Network and verify that Record netwok log is active.
4. Fill in the URL http://toto.forumactif.org/h125- and validate to load the page content.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Finally had time to clear my cell history login to the test site went smoothly no hijacked pull-down menu however upon login into the main site the pop hijacking the pull-down menu as usual and it was a scam pop up reported here. Not a very safe environment if that keeps happening no matter how much I report these it seems to take forever for the thing to get the fix at this rate it would be a little easier if the two ad reporting topics were merged. Less back and forth work too.
However upon logging in it attempting to redirect me to a fraud site.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
Well, if a gullible person was to say to download a fake Flash updated and that caused the computer to crash due to the pop up appearing to have originated from my forum site when it’s the ad sever’s causing it. That’s what’s I talking about.
The only reason you keep getting extra time is something is keeping me busy and problems with Viglink alway being on in other hosts. In my mind, Viglink is Viagra links and you should know Viagra usually relates to spam.
Plus the Viglink is alway causing issues as the API link get dragged into the link if copy/pasting into an e-mail from said forum if it’s an outbound link, making the link look like spam. Where do you think a spam looking link would wind up in some e-mail? Most likely the Junk/spam folder or said friend might be asking if my e-mail account has been compromised due to how spammy the link looks when it’s a legit link but the API being dragged with it just makes it look like spam instead.
Due to all the spam issues, I think the main forum, FriendlyForest is in grave danger of getting a permanent unremovable URL bans. The only way I see to save it if you don’t step up the spam fixing pace it to move it to a safer host. I’m highly likely going to move it for the 3rd time once, I have some free time and find a host I can trust. The things I’m looking for in a trustworthy host:
1. Viglink is not alway on and if it’s is on it’s not causing copy/paste issues. The way it posts should be the same way it’s seen in the URL bar whether it’s an internal or external link.
2. Very little spam issues. Maybe one or two every 6 months or so. Amongst notification of said spam issues is dealt with within 24 hours or less. (You’ve been taking months.)
3. Can deal with heavy image loads so no text/image maximum per post.
4. Mobile capacity.
If you were to be placed amongst the other competitors right now you probably would be in the last place at this time. Though if things really pick up fast there a chance you could move up amongst the rank with you competitors.
I could go back to doing daily reporting it just I have to do so many steps each time I do these reports and usually it's the same exact problem. Plus lately, I've been running into Recaptcha a lot upon posting on the help topics. I got it when I first post this report it and keep getting it every time I edit this post to add on of fix some, as you say you disallow double posting before 24 hour periods.
Since I had a little downtime (not enough to go forum hunting.) I decided to do another report run ( might have to bounce between, two topics though):
1.
Site: http://friendlyforest.forumotion.com/
-Device: iPhone 6s ios 10.2.1
Browser: iPhone Safari
Connection type: wifi
Type: redirect
Note: Not logged in and it auto redirected to an Amazon gift card scam, with fake facebook like comments.
2.

Redirect happens again as I attempted to sign in on the login page though it's a fake virus scan scam, this time.

Extra Notes:
Nothing for popup or banner ads so far today on either Freindly Forest or the test site. Just a bunch of rederict scams though I notice one thing I did difrently just now. You may want to keep it in mind as it could be wide spread across forumotion and it depen on whatever forumotion site that does not have protection for guest that is visited will have the scam issues. I tested Freindly Forest my main first today and then tested the test site secound today. I ususally do the Test site first.

Re: [ONLY TOPIC] Ads redirection (Mobile & PC)
I have users getting redirected when they try to access our site using a mobile device (iPhone). I am able to access from my home PC and laptop with no issues. This is what he gets:
Other users state they have experienced that problem before on mobile but it seems to come and go. There is a 'reader friendly' and 'classic' version of the forum for mobile devices. However, another user says both versions have the pop up problem and take you to a point you cannot return. Please advise? Thanks. URL is:

Malicious pop-ups
I recently created an online forum with forumotion to promote communication between clients of the company I work for. When we tested this within the office everything worked fine, however, when we sent the link to our team in Australia they reported that there were pop-ups that they could not close normally (and had to use task manager to close) that occurred periodically when they clicked on the categories/forums and claimed to be from reputable companies (most commonly Microsoft). The site would then try to get them to download what was likely malware.
They say that this has happened on multiple devices and browsers most commonly windows pc's using chrome or Microsoft edge. If any more information is required i can ask them and provide it, I just need to fix this before i can even consider sending this to our clients.
Also worth noting that there were instances of this opening up in completely different browsers for example they would click something on the forum in chrome and Microsoft edge would load up containing one of these pop-ups
